AIBA hosts several monthly events for members and businesses interested in joining. AIBA members also invite the public to events at local businesses all over town. If you are a member and would like to list your event, please fill out this short form and we'll get your event listed as soon as possible.

We hope you will join us at our member events! AIBA members invite you to their events! From openings to performances to special events, you'll find something to do at local businesses every week. AIBA hosts two annual events to highlight the importance of local business in our community. AIBA created Austin Unchained, a day of shopping locally owned, designed to bring attention to the economic and cultural impact of consumers shopping at only locally owned businesses for one day. Austin Unchained is celebrated on the first Saturday after Thanksgiving. AIBA and The American Independent Business Alliance declare the first week in July each year as Independents Week in celebration of the contribution of locally owned businesses. AIBA Member Happy Hours
AIBA invites you to our monthly Happy Hour on the first Wednesday of each month. The location rotates among our members and is always a good time. Visit with your peers while sipping a cool brew and exploring locally owned treasures!
Breakfast with AIBA
AIBA members and businesses interested in joining AIBA meet every other month for breakfast with an engaging speaker.
AIBA Member Luncheons
AIBA hosts luncheons every other month with guest speakers presenting a variety of topics of interest to local business. The luncheons are held at a different member restaurant each time and are a great place to network, pick up a few tips and enjoy a delicious local lunch!
