BookPeople is excited to welcome Sean Penn in conversation with Douglas Brinkley at the Central Presbyterian Church on Apr 3 at 7pm. Bob Honey Who Just Do Stuff by two-time Academy Award-winning actor, writer, and director is Mr. Penn’s first novel. The darkly humorous novel tells the picaresque story of Bob Honey, a middle-aged, divorced, disillusioned man living in a nondescript house on a nondescript street in Woodview, California.

Link & Pin Gallery presents Seascapes by Anissa Bryant Feb 23 through Mar 18 with an opening reception on Feb 23 from 6-9pm. ‘Seascapes’ is an exploration of the intrinsic loneliness of humanity, the vastness of the oceans, and the interconnectivity of life with water. Each piece of art is accompanied by a poem that illustrates the artist’s emotions during the creation process.
