Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas is a non profit public service whose mission is to assist the public locate help for their legal needs by providing legal information, referrals to lawyers, and referrals to community partners. We help take the confusion and fear out of searching for a lawyer or other resources. Lawyers are screened for experience in business issues, family law, criminal law, wills and estate planning, real estate, consumer, personal injury, and more.

  • Events at End of an Ear

    Two fun events are on the horizon from the folk at End of an Ear in the next week. On May 23, they are hosting a aGLIFF as they present a free screening of the movie Believer at the Alamo Drafthouse South Lamar. And on May 26 from noon to 3pm they are hosting the Sounds of the Brewery Record Release Party. Thirst Planet Brewery will be releasing their first E.P. - a 7" transparent-gold Flexi-Vinyl record titled "Sounds of the Brewery".

     

     
  • "Elsewhere" at Link and Pin Art

    The latest show at Link & Pin Art Space is “Elsewhere” - a three woman fine art exhibition featuring Kell, LaBaw, and Olivas They come together again to celebrate natural elements through their individual, optimistic and poetic visions. This collection of creative works will inspire insight and offer a fresh glimpse of the world through their eyes, while exploring the possibilities that may lie elsewhere. Show runs Jun 1 through Jul 1 with an opening reception Jun 2 from 6–8 pm.

    The Business Success Center presents "Market Research MUSTS for Inventors+”, an Austin Small Biz Success Meetup on May 21 from 12pm to 1pm. Speaker, Steve Pearson of the Pearson Strategy Group, has been letting people know if they really have the "freedom to operate" or can get in big trouble for many years. Steve has provided the kind of competitive business intelligence and research that intellectual property lawyers, inventors, and other business owners need for toy businesses, tech, and everything in between. After several requests to add another Yin class to the schedule, Studio Mantra is happy to announce that this wish has been granted!  Yin Yoga emphasizes long holds of poses resulting in very passive stretches of the deeper connective tissues. Through Yin Yoga, joints become stronger, improving flexibility. The class is accessible to all levels of students!
