Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas is a non profit public service whose mission is to assist the public locate help for their legal needs by providing legal information, referrals to lawyers, and referrals to community partners. We help take the confusion and fear out of searching for a lawyer or other resources. Lawyers are screened for experience in business issues, family law, criminal law, wills and estate planning, real estate, consumer, personal injury, and more.

  • Spring Open House at Navidad Farms

    This year the Navidad Farms Spring Garden Tasting will be Apr 14 from 10am to 5pm. This bi-annual event showcases dishes made from the Navidad Farms products. This year's theme is Razzleberry featuring dishes and baked goods made from raspberry, blackberry, strawberries & blueberry (along with other goodies). Come taste the products and gleen easy serving and entertaining ideas. Don't miss this one!


  • Intern at Save Our Springs

    Save Our Springs is hiring summer interns to work at their educational table at Barton Springs and other outreach/educational events. Interns educate citizens about the work of SOS, the fragile world of Barton Springs, and local conservation efforts.  We will train.  Contact to apply. Don't forget to submit your photos to the upcoming "Faces of Barton Springs" exhibit that will be installed at the Beverly S. Sheffield Education Center.  The multi-media exhibit opens on Earth Day Apr 22, Submit your serious or silly photos for consideration by midnight Mar 15.

  • Legal Advice Hotline from Lawyer Referral Service

    Lawyer Referral Service of Central Texas hosts LegalLine on the first Tuesday of every month offering free legal advice by phone from lawyer volunteers who answer legal questions and give brief legal advice. Topics may include family law, criminal matters, consumer issues, estate planning, landlord/tenant issues, employment law, and personal injury. Next session is Apr 3 between 5:30 and 7:30pm. All calls are confidential and anonymous. Bilingual (English/Spanish) attorneys will be available.

  • Spring Break 2K18 at Spiderhouse

    It's that time again - a full week of Free/All Ages live music is coming to Spiderhouse Mar 11 - 19 for Spring Break! All of these shows are sponsored by Lone Star Beer for ultimate spring break relaxing and a great way to support a local watering hole during the madness of SXSW.


  • Trust Me, Love Me at Scottish Rite Theater

    On Mar 9 to 11, Scottish Rite Theater presents a workshop production of an original script by Kendra Dobson that will take you on a journey into an Afrofuturist prototype drama. Included with each ticket is both a digital comic book AND access to an augmented reality app with illustrations by local artist Lakeem Wilson. The stage performance is a combination of interactive augmented reality, music, projection, and story. Recommended for teens and adults.
